The Challenge
Our client needed to consolidate data center operations following a corporate merger. This site, an 80,000 square foot facility with more than 25 megawatts of power infrastructure, needed to be fully decommissioned and vacated. Millions had been poured into the site commission less than twenty years prior, so recovering value and reducing move out time was critical.
Our Solution
Travel Safe provided turnkey project execution, managing all work in-house from initial scope to final facility turnover.
Our decommissioning team executed full power-down and removal of critical systems, including switchgear, UPS units, cabling, and generators. Simultaneously, our asset value recovery team assessed, tagged, and prepared assets for resale.
Heavy equipment crews handled rigging and shipping coordination for large electrical infrastructure. While decommissioning was underway, our restoration team began returning the facility to its pre-lease condition.
We also managed environmental compliance and permitted removals under the oversight of a dedicated project manager.
